My Wallet Design
I began doing the envelope/category budget system a couple years ago (hat tip to Dave Ramsey), and was looking for a wallet that would help me stay organized. I needed something that would separate my Gas, Food, and Fun money into easy to access “envelopes”. I looked everywhere and found nothing! Disgruntled that the internet could not satisfy my every desire, I set out to design a wallet that would work for me. Using my mom’s sewing machine, I toiled through 10 design iterations before arriving at this one. It is the fruit of my labor.
